Hi, I’m Camilla Rae, founder of Full Circle Baby, and I’m so honored you’re here.
I founded Full Circle Baby because I know—deep in my bones—that babies are our future. Across cultures & throughout history, the way we care for newborns (and their parents) reflects the strength, health, & resilience of society itself. My work as a full spectrum doula is rooted in this belief—that when we nurture families, we create a foundation for generations to thrive.
Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of supporting over 1,800 families—from preconception through pregnancy, birth, and into the transformative first year of postpartum. Both my professional training and personal parenting journey have shown me just how vital postpartum support truly is. I know what it feels like to be deep in birth recovery, questioning everything, and searching for systems that actually work.
That’s why Full Circle Baby exists—to provide the trusted support, guidance, and reassurance families need during this life-changing time.
Ultimately, our doula promise is to honor every individual experience, offering compassionate, expert care with an open heart. I’m so excited about the possibility of working together and supporting your family through this beautiful journey.
Warmly,
Camilla Rae
What Makes Full Circle Baby Different
After years of working with multiple doula agencies in Portland, I realized that not all postpartum care is created equal. Many larger agencies lacked the deep, personal touch that families truly need during the postpartum period. High turnover rates and inconsistent levels of professional experience often left families without the continuity and expertise they deserved.
I founded Full Circle Baby to be a breath of fresh air in the Portland doula community. We stand out because we are committed to providing exceptional, consistent, and uniquely personalized care. Our team is made up of experienced professionals who view this work as a long-term career—not a temporary role or side gig.
We are also proud to be the first agency in the Portland metro area to offer W-2 employment for our postpartum care team. This means our care providers receive financial benefits, healthcare, and paid time off—allowing them to build sustainable, fulfilling careers within our organization. This investment in our team translates directly into better care for your family. Our doulas are supported, valued, and able to dedicate themselves fully to the families they serve, offering the kind of consistent, high-quality care that makes a real difference in your postpartum journey.
At Full Circle Baby, we believe that when caregivers are nurtured, families thrive—and we’re here to make sure both happen.
